A must try Delicious Apple Tart Recipe

Ingredients: All purpose flour, for dusting 1 sheet frozen puff pastry , Dufour, thawed 1/2 cup fresh  applesauce 1 large egg, beaten

1 ounce unsalted butter 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into yhin wedges 2 tbsp apricot preserves 2 tbsp sandwich sugar Confectioners sugar 1 tbsp water Whipped cream'

Instructions: 1. On a lightly floured surface roll out puff pastry into a 14/16" rectangle. 2. Cut 1" wide strip from each side of dough.

3. Egg wash edges. 4. To form a crust, top with cut strip. 5. With a fork, prick all over on middle of dough 6. Place on lined baking sheet.

7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. 8. Heat oven to 400 degrees. 9. Spread applesauce on middle of dough. 10. Arrange apple slices  over applesauce.

11. Apply butter on apple slices. Brush crust with egg wash. 12. Sprinkle with sanding sugar. 13. Bake for about 20 minutes.

14. Reduce the heat of oven to 375 degrees. 15. Bake for 25-30 minutes. 16. Let it cool on wire rack. 17. Heat apricot preserves with water.

18. Apply warm apricot preserves on apples. 19. Dust confectioners' sugar. 20. Cut and serve warm with whipped cream.
