A Must Try Super Delicious Strawberry Cream Cake

Ingredients: For Cake: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup unsalted butter + more  1/2  tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder

2 large eggs + 2 egg yolks 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup whole milk

For Filling: 1/2 cup sugar 1 pound strawberries, hulled & sliced 1 tsp gelatin 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Butter and flour a round cake pan. 3. Whisk together flour, salt and baking powder.

4. Cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light. 5. Add eggs and yolks, beat well. 5. Mix in vanilla. 6. Add flour mixture alternating with milk.

7. Mix to combine well. 8. Bake for 30-35 minutes. 9. Keep aside to cool completely. 10. For Topping: Combine strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar.

11. Mix gelatin in water, let it stand for 5 minutes. 12. Heat it until gelatin dissolved. 13. Beat cream and 1/4 cup sugar until soft peaks form.

14. Arrange half of strawberries and cream over cake to make a layer. 15. Top cake with whipped cream.

16. Refrigerate cake for 1 hour. 17. Scatter strawberries over cake and serve.
