Cinnamon Roll:Cinnamon roll also known as Cinnamon Bun, Cinnamon Danish, Cinnamon Swirl, is a popular breakfast in North America. It is a sweet roll made with few simple ingredients.
Ingredients:1. 2 cups milk2. 1/4 cup sugar3. 1/2 cup melted butter4. 4 1/2 cups flour5. 1 1/2 tsp yeast6. 1 tsp salt7. 1 cup brown sugar8. 1/2 cup soft butter9. 2.5 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions:1. In bowl add warm milk, yeast and sugar, mix slightly.2. Cover and keep aside for 5-6 minutes or until yeast bloom.
3. Once yeast has bloomed add flour, melted butter and salt, combine everything together.4. Apply oil, cover with cloth and keep aside for 1-2 hours or until dough doubled in size.
5. To make filling, in bowl add brown sugar, butter and cinnamon powder, combine well.6. When the dough rises up, roll the dough in rectangular shape with half an inch thickness.
7. Spread cinnamon filling evenly all over the dough.8. Roll the dough into the log.9. Using dental floss cut the dough log into rolls.10. Place roll on baking dish.
11. Cover it and keep aside for another 30 minutes to proof.12. Once rolls have proofed, apply milk on top of the rolls.13. Bake them at 175 degree C for about 30-35 minutes.14. Delicious cinnamon rolls are ready to enjoy.
