Basic Pancakes Recipe By Martha Stewart
Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 large egg
1 cup milk
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
For Toppings: maple syrup, butter, confectioner's sugar, jams, honey, chocolate syrup, whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
2. Whisk together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
3. In an another bowl add milk, butter, eggs, whisk well.
4. Add flour mixture to milk mixture.
5. Whisk until combined well.
6. Heat a large non stick skillet over medium heat.
7. Rub skillet with oiled paper towel.
8. Pour 2-3 tbsp of batter to hot skillet.
9. Spread batter evenly..
10. Cook it for 1-2 minutes or bubbles occur.
11. Flip it and cook it well from another side.
12. Repeat with remaining batter.
13. Serve hot with toppings of your choice.
