Basic Pizza Dough By Martha Stewart

Ingredients: 4 cups all-purpose flour + more for dusting 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil + more 2 envelopes active dry yeast 2 tsp kosher salt 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions: 1. In a large bowl add warm water, sprinkle dry yeast and keep aside until foamy.

2. Whisk in sugar, salt and oil into yeast bowl. 3. Add flour and combine until sticky dough form.

4. Apply oil on dough, cover with plastic wrap and keep aside in warm place forb about 1 hour or until dough doubled in size.

5. Take out dough onto floured surface and gently knead. 6. Pizza dough is ready to use.

7. Dough can be stored in oiled bowl, covered with a plastic wrap in refrigerator for 2-3 hours. 8. It can be freeze up to 3 month in a resealable bag.

Tips: This dough can be used as the base for sweet soft pretzels,, brown sugar and pecan sticky buns, focaccia with dried fruit and rosemary.
