Classic Yellow Butter Cake Recipe

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour + more for pans 2 sticks unsalted butter 1 tbsp baking powder 1 1/2 cups cake flour

1 3/4 cups sugar 1/2 tsp salt 4 large eggs 1 1/4 cups milk 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions: Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Butter a cake pan, line a parchment paper.

3. Butter and flour parchment paper. 4. In bowl, sift together flours, salt and baking powder.

5. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. 6. One by one beat in eggs. 7. Beat in vanilla. 

8. Add flour in 3 batches alternating with milk. 9. Whisk until combined well. 10. Pour batter in cake pans.

11. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. 12. Remove from oven, keep aside to cool. 13. Discard parchment, slice and serve.
