Cream Pound Cake By Martha Stewart

Ingredients: 2 cups cake flour, sifted 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter + more for pan 3/4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp coarse salt

4 large eggs 1 1/4 cups sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup  heavy cream

Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees 2. Grease and flour a loaf pan.

3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. 4. Cream butter until fluffy.

5. Slowly add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. 6. Beat in eggs. 7. Stir in vanilla.

8. Whisk in dry mixture in three batches alternating with cream. 9. Transfer batter to cake pan.

10. Bake it for 1 hour 25 minutes. 11. Take out from oven and keep aside  for cool completely. 12. Slice and enjoy.
