Deep Dish Pizza:
Deep dish pizza is prepared in different styles in Chicago. It is also known as Chicago-style pizza.
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour + for dusting
2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
3 tbsp unsalted butter, soften + more
Instructions:
1. In a bowl combine water and yeast, keep aside until foamy.
2. Combine flour, sugar and salt.
3. Stir until dough form.
4. Take out to a lightly floured surface.
5. Knead it well until elastic and tacky.
6. Transfer dough to a bowl, brush oil, cover with plastic wrap and let it stand in a warm place for 2-3 hours or until doubled in size.
7. It can be refrigerate for about 12 hours or up to 3 days.
8. Before using keep it on room temperature for 1 hour.
