Gooey Butter Cake By Martha Stewart

Ingredients: 3 cups all purpose flour 8 ounces unsalted butter + more for pan 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups sugar

1 tbsp baking powder 4 large eggs 1 cup whole milk 1 tsp  pure vanilla extract

Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Line a muffin tin, keep aside. 3. For cake layer butter and line baking pans.

4. Mix together flour, salt and baking powder. 5. Cream butter and sugar until pale.

6. One by one add eggs, beat well. 7. Add vanilla and mix well. 8. Add flour mixture in batches, alternating with milk.

9. Whisk to combine well. 10. For cupcakes- Add batter into cups, fill 2/3 full.

11. For cake layer- Add 2 3/4 cups of batter into prepared pan. 12. Bake 17-18 minutes for cupcakes and 20-25 minutes for layers.

13. Let cool cupcakes and layers for 15 minutes. 14. Wrap in a plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready. 15. Decorate and serve.
