Homemade Tabasco Sauce (Non-Fermented)
Tabasco Sauce:
Tabasco sauce is very easy to make at home with few simple ingredients such as tabasco peppers, vinegar and salt.
Ingredients:
5 ounce tabasco peppers
1 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. In a small pot add tabasco peppers, vinegar and salt.
2. Turn on the heat and bring it to quick boil.
3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until soften.
4. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
5. Add boiled peppers to a food processor and process until smooth.
6. Strain the mixture and remove solids.
7. Pour it into hot sauce bottles. Enjoy!!
8. You can adjust the consistency according to your choice by adding water or vinegar.
Tips:
You can customize homemade tabasco sauce by adding garlic, onion, papaya, pineapple or mango according to your taste.
