Irresistible New England Cranberry Duff By Martha Stewart
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/3 cup + 1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 large egg
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Butter a 8" Square baking dish.
3. Spread cranberries over baking dish.
4. Sprinkle pecan and sugar, keep aside.
5. In a saucepan melt 6 tbsp butter.
6. Beat egg and 1/2 cup sugar until pale and thick.
7. Slowly beat in flour and salt.
8. Slowly mix in melted butter, beat until smooth.
9. Pour batter to prepared pan over cranberries.
10. Bake for 45 minutes.
11. Let it cool for 10 minutes on wire rack.
12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
