Lucious Chocolate Pear Tart
Ingredients:
1 cup whole blanched almonds
8 tbsp unsalted butter + more for pan
3 large eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 ;lemon
3 ripe pears
2 tbsp apple jelly
Instructions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Brush a 9" removable bottom tart pan with butter.
3. Process sugar and almonds until finely ground in a food processor.
4. Add eggs, butter, cocoa, salt, almond and vanilla extract.
6. Process until combined.
7. Evenly spread mixture in prepared pan.
8. Peel and cut pears lengthwise, rub with lemon.
9. Arrange pear slices on prepared pan over chocolate mixture.
10. Place pan on baking sheet and bake for about 45-50 minutes.
11. Let it cool completely.
12. Heat jelly until liquefied.
13. Brush pears with jelly, let it set..
14. Tart is redy to serve.
