Maple Bundt Cake Recipe By Martha Stewart
Ingredients:
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups all purpose flour + more
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
12 tbsp unsalted butter + more for pan
2 large eggs
1/2 cup packaged brown sugar
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup heavy cream
Ingredients:
1. Grease and dust a Bundt pan.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
4. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
5. One by one add eggs, beat well.
6. Beat in maple syrup (1/2 cup) and vanilla.
7. Add dry mixture in 3 addition alternating with sour cream.
8. Beat to combine well.
9. Transfer batter to cake pan.
10. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
11. Let the cake cool completely.
12. Beat cream until soft peak form.
13. Beat in maple syrup.
14. Add whipped cream over cake.
15. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.
