Martha Stewart's Hot Milk Cake Recipe

Ingredients: 3 cups all purpose flour 2 tbsp unsalted butter + more for pan 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp baking powde

6 large egge 2 tsp pure vanilla extract 3 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups whole milk Chocolate whipped cream frosting

Instructions. 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Grease and dust a round cake pan.

3. In a bowl. whisk together  flour, salt and baking powder 4. Combine eggs and sugar, beat it for 5 minutes or until mixture is very thick.

5. Whisk in vanilla. 6. Meanwhile, in a saucepan heat milk and butter. 7. Gradually add it to egg mixture, beat continuously.

8. Slowly add dry mixture, combine well. 9. Transfer this batter to prepared pan. 10. Bake it for 50-60 minutes.

11. Remove from oven and let it cool. 12. Spread with frosting over and sides of cake. 13. Slice and enjoy.
