Pound Cake With Maple Glaze by Martha Stewart

Ingredients: 3 cups cake flour + more for pan 1 cup unsalted butter 6 large eggs 3 cups granulated sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 cup heavy cream 1/4 tsp almond extract 1/2 tsp lemon extract 1/4 cup maple syrup 2 tbsp unsalted butter 1 cup confectioners' sugar

Instructions: 1. Grease and dust a Bundt pan. 2. Beat butter and granulated sugar until light

3. Add eggs, beat well. 4. Add cream and flour, mix well to combine. 5. Mix in vanilla, almond and lemon extract.

6. Transfer batter to cake pan. 7. Bake for 1 hour 45 minutes at 300 degrees. 8. Remove from oven, let it cool.

9. For glaze: Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. 10. Whisk in confectioners' sugar.

11. Mix well until smooth. 12. Immediately pour glaze over cooled cake. 13. Slice the cake and serve.
