Super Easy and Delicious Apple Oat Crisp

Ingredients: Topping: 1/4 cup light brown sugar 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats

1/2 stick unsalted butter 1/8 tsp coarse salt Filling: 1/4 cup light brown sugar 1/4 cup dried cherries

2 pounds sweet apples, such as McIntosh, Braeburn or Gala, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2" slices 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions: 1. For topping: Heat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Pulse 1/2 cup oats until coarsely ground.

3. Take out in a bowl and add remaining oats, butter, salt and brown sugar. 4. Mix to combine well.

5. For Filling: In a bowl, toss together filling ingredients. 6. Transfer to a 9" square baking dish. 7. Sprinkle topping.

8. Cover with foil. 9. Bake for 30 minutes. 10. Remove foil then bake for about 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
