Super Simple Roasted Cabbage Wedges By Martha Stewart
Ingredients:
1 medium head green cabbage, cut into 1 inch thick rounds
1 tbsp + 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp caraway or fennel seeds
Coarse salt
Ground pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Grease a rimmed baking sheet with 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.
3. Cut 1 medium head green cabbage into 1" thick rounds.
4. Place in a single layer on baking sheet.
5. Brush with 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.
6. Season with salt and ground pepper.
7. Sprinkle 1 tsp caraway or fennel seeds.
8. Roast for 40-45 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
9. Flavorful roasted cabbage is ready to serve.
10. It goes well with slow cooker corned beef.
