Martha Stewart's Classic Chocolate Cupcakes
Ingredients:
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup unsalted butter
3 large eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Easy white icing
Sprinkles
Instructions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line a muffin tin with paper liner.
3. In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa and salt.
4. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy and light.
5. Beat in eggs, then add in vanilla, mix well.
6. Add flour mixture alternating with sour cream in two batches.
7. Whisk everything well.
8. Transfer cake batter into cups.
9. Bake them for 20-25 minutes.
10. Remove from oven and let them cool completely.
11. Spread with icing.
12. Decorate with sprinkles and serve.
